Warm Thursday in Delhi, rain likely Friday


New Delhi, Sep 19 (IANS): Delhi is likely to see light showers Friday after a string of warm days, including Thursday when the maximum temperature was recorded two notches above average at 36.2 degrees Celsius.

The capital might have a cloudy sky and light rain could occur from Friday morning onwards, said an official of India Meteorological Department. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 35 and 24 degrees Celsius, respectively.

The minimum temperature Thursday settled at 23.4 degrees Celsius - a notch below average, while the humidity wavered between a high and low of 88 and 45 percent.
