BJP prepares roadmap for parliamentary polls in UP

Lucknow, Sep 18 (IANS): BJP has prepared an elaborate roadmap for the 80 parliamentary seats in Uttar Pradesh ahead of the Lok Sabha polls, party leaders said.

Senior leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Tuesday brainstormed in New Delhi on an action plan that they need to create to take maximum advantage of prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi's goodwill among the masses.

During the meeting, Uttar Pradesh was divided into eight zones.

Public rallies will be addressed by the Gujarat chief minister in all eight zones. The campaign will culminate in a massive rally in the state capital.

Buoyed by the recent success of Modi's public rallies in Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan and Haryana, state BJP leaders have been asked to ensure that crowds at rallies in Uttar Pradesh appear challenging to other parties.

"The meeting under the chairmanship of party president Rajnath Singh has given us direction now. After apprising him with the situation in the state and getting guidance from him and party in-charge Amit Shah, we have to now become electorally strong," said state BJP president Laxmikant Bajpayi.

Senior leaders will now consult party cadres and supporters and make a list of prominent people they want as contestants from Uttar Pradesh.

Some leaders feel that famous personalities from various fields should be pitched in the state to gain maximum advantage.

Party insiders told IANS that there was unanimity that if the Gujarat chief minister contests from Uttar Pradesh, the party's fortunes would definitely become better.

"While this is a matter that the party national leadership needs to take a call on, there is no doubt that there is support for Narendra bhai. If he chooses to contest from Uttar Pradesh, we will touch our past performances of the 1990s," said a senior party leader.

"People are favouring Modi everywhere and Uttar Pradesh is no different. They see him (Modi) as someone who will usher in development and that is a path-breaking phenomenon as far as Uttar Pradesh politics is concerned," said state BJP spokesman Vijay Bahadur Pathak.

Start many positive events after events every month. That should include all local/religious festivals, temple/mosque/church events, rural youth development programs, women upliftment programs, sports events, unity in diversity programs/street plays/skits.
Give the awareness of UNITY is the strength and DIVISION is the destruction of India.
Every one, particularly the youth want harmony, development and job and not division, disharmony and destruction. United we stand & divided we fall.

What Roadmap for parliamentary Polls in Uttar Pradesh???

BJP or any other party politicians (S.P, B.S.P or Congress) have no right to kill the "Innocent People" by calling it a communal violence!!!. Why should the "So called Leaders" (What Leadership Qualities are they showing it in the open by instigating people to have "SWORDS WIELDING") are making hatred speeches against other communities. "Mr. NAMO" has the art and mastery in spewing venom against all the minority communities in this country.

The day Mr. Narendra Modi's right hand man Mr. Amit Shah was made the chief of election committee at U.P, the BJP had nefarious ideas to win the "Most Decision Making State" for the coming General Elections Results at any cost and their game plan has kick-started and they have to pay a big price for it.

U.P will have a "Major Say" to decide who can rule at the center in the next coming elections.

It looks clear now for the BJP for their "Double Standards" will back fire for their game plan. Only time will tell us who is dividing this nation to rule...

There are few commentators like the one who have no guts to mention their own name by merely mentioning... truth, mangalore

India's progress & success is the dream of 1.2 Billion people and no body likes to destroy the peace and progress of our Country. We need to live in religious harmony, National integrity & unity.
The current political conspiracy is nothing but we are digging our own grave. When we will learn. There is not unity. That’s why so many foreign countries invaded India (past history) and our political leaders are power hungry only to become PM and divide and rule.

If Modi becomes PM, there would not be peace with neighboring countries. Whatever peace process and balanced good relations/diplomacy we have been maintaining may go into drains because he is a born arrogant/aggressive and communal oriented leader, which is not liked even by international community. India’s progress may change into India’s disaster.

Alternatively, even Raul Gandhi is not a right choice to fill the post. There should be a matured, outspoken and well experienced person from congress, to take charge of PM post.

Frankly speaking, under current political situation, BJP is the only party which is preferred to corrupt congress. However, corruption is much preferred than communalism. BJP has done a great mistake by nominating Narendra as PM candidate. It will certainly harm BJP. I guarantee BJP will have a true shock in 2014 and it will be due to a single person - Narendra. He is stubborn and have no control over his tongue. His senseless, foolish statements of lies like a street fighter will bring disgrace upon India, if at all, by chance he becomes our PM. Thereafter, it will always be p.m. and a.m. will never be witnessed by India and Indians. Jai Hind.

P people should realize that BJP is the only viable option in the state. Congress and SP are well known to be communal, divisive, corrupt, dynastic and incompetent. We have seen their performance in UP and in the center. BSP could be an option but the frenzy with which Mayawati installed her statues in the term that she got as the CM casts serious doubt about her stability and maturity (I wish she shows some maturity even now). That leaves us with only BJP. BJP has a determined and competent leader. Seems to be patriotic and progress minded. Dear UP voters, BJP needs to win 60 seats in the state. Congress must be limited to fewer than 100 seats in the entire nation. This can be achieved if every patriot becomes a campaigner for BJP.

All this Chhadis propaganda will never work here.

I seriously think that, that kind of talent would be good to become a full time pracharak atleast till the Lok Sabha elections. It is a good side income. NRI Gujaratis from USA are hiring. Has the SMS arrived as yet ? They are even willing to pay. Side income can also be had by selling copies of the favourite digs#!t video.

How many days/hours have you spent in Gujarat during these ten years. Talking about corruption and developments.Had you a pinch of concern towards your country you would have shed your sweat on the soils of your mother land.Instead of making use of the ample resources available on this beautiful land you have gone to Dubai to acquire wealth .Forget about Gujarat and Modi.Take an account of your contributions towards developments in your neighbor hood and in your home town UDUPI. It is the hypocrites who destroy the country by feeding filth in the minds of the innocents.

Juliet,Frankly speaking India is more depending on us than you for foreign exchange. They are encouraging more remittances so that balance of payment will come to acceptable level. I know basic reason for your loose comment, i also married. Tell me about 20 years back forget Udupi are you able to find a job in Mangalore paying Rs. 1000 p.m. Dont go far coastal districts of Karnataka and Kerala are rich because NRI Funds are flowing and market is vibrant. Now understood some facts so please vote for intelligent people !

Sunil, I did not analayse your last 2 words"Intelligent People" about whom did you talk about yourself or Feku and party. If it is for yourself there was no need for you to be a NRI, and if it for the Feku party they would have not been sitting in the opposition
