Mangalore, Feb 22: As the whole world is feeling the heat of protest over the 'cartoon row', the city too has not fallen too behind in joining with the world.  Dakshina Kannada Muslim Legue and DK SKSFF have called for a protest on Thursday February 24 at 3 pm.

The public protest meet will be held in front of the deputy commissioner's office here at 3 pm on Thursday.

This was announced in a joint press release by Muhammad Sadik Haji and L K Umar Darimi here recently.

The protest meet will be inaugurated by Khaji of the city and presided over by Syed Zynul Abidin Tanjal, vice president of state league.
