Los Angeles, Sep 14 (IANS): Actress Julianne Moore has joined the star cast of “The Hunger Games” for the upcoming third and fourth instalments of the film franchise.
The film also features Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth, reports contactmusic.com.
Woody Harrelson, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland and Philip Seymour Hoffman are also part of the action adventure series, which is based on the bestselling books by Suzanne Collins.
The casting confirmation comes three months after the “Game Change” actress was first linked to the role.
“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay” Parts 1 and 2 are due out in 2014 and 2015, respectively.
