Puttur, Feb 22: The Kadaba police have arrested two persons for stealing valuables belonging to railways at Kenjal near Kombar here on Monday February 20 night.

The arrested have been identified as P J Raju and Harishchandra K.  They were caught while fleeing on a jeep after stealing certain things such as bolts, pad plates etc.  The total worth of the seized valuables is said to be Rs 10,000.  The police have also seized the jeep.

However, three other accused Shanmugam, Bommanna and Udaya have managed to escape during the raid.  The Kadaba police have registered a case in this regard.
