Mangalore, Feb 21: Karnataka Nataka Academy president Srinivas G Kappanna, addressing a press meet here on Monday February 20, announce that the Karnataka Nataka Academy in association with Tulu, Konkani and Kodava Academies, will organize ‘Karnataka Rangotsava’, as part of the Suvarna Karnataka celebrations to felicitate the growth of theatre in the state.

The Rangotsava will be held at Town Hall here, between Monday February 27 and Friday March 3.

Kannada, Tulu, Kodava and Konkani plays will be staged for the first time on a single platform, he added.  Yakshagana performances will be an added attraction.

Everyday, there will be discussions on the plays by experts. Theatre experts, art critics will express their views on the plays staged.

There will be no entry fee.
