Mangalore, Feb 20: An one-hour telefilm on the activities and facilities during Dasara at the Kudroli Sri Gokarnanatheshwara temple here, has be released in six languages.
Recently, Sonia Gandhi, president, AICC, released the DVD of the telefilm at New Delhi.
The telefilm is an initiative taken by Janardhana Poojary, former president, KPCC. The renovation of the temple and organizing of the Dasara, has been taken upon by Poojary. Addressing press persons, he said that this lead had nothing to do with the Congress, and his only intention was to bring peace, as violence has taken the upper hand everywhere.
Doordarshan has agreed to telecast the film on its regional channels, while Indian embassies abroad are being contacted to give coverage to the same, he added.
The telefilm has been produced and directed by K P Nanjundi Vishwakarma.
