Bangalore, Feb 19: Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy on Monday said the decision of JD(S) to suspend him and 39 MLAs would have "no effect" on the party-led coalition government in the state.

"It will have no effect on the government", he told reporters here while responding to a question.

He termed the suspension issue as an "internal matter" of the party. "Nothing will happen. We will solve it at the party forum".

Kumaraswamy said he had maintained from the beginning itself that any action taken by his father and JDS President H D Devegowda on the decision to form government with BJP would be treated as his "blessings".
