Hosphet, Feb 19: ‘Ruch Mhaka Di’ is a cassette and CD of inspirational hymns in Konkani, composed by Friar V J Menezes, set to harmony by Alwyn Noronha, Bajpe and orchestration is by Joswin Pinto, Mangalore. It is recorded at Studio Sandesha, Mangalore.

Friar V J attributes both the lyrics and the tunes to God’s gratuitous and abundant love, poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit. The 15 hymns invites the listener to taste the sweetness of God’s agape through deep meditation and thus experience health, healing and wholesomeness. The mellow music soothes your spirit and beckons you to relax in the all encompassing love of God, a love that is so high, so deep, so long and so broad, given to us in Jesus Christ, the Bridegroom of our lives.

The cassette / CD cover with the symbol of the heart speaks all that is hidden within the hymns. The cassette / CD will be released by Sebastiana Menezes, aged 92, mother of Friar V J Menezes, on Sunday, February 26, at Premdost, Hosabettu, Moodbidri.

The purpose of the hymns is achieved only when the listener allows himself  / herself, to be animated to have his / her life to be transformed and become more pleasing to God.
