Udupi, Feb 9: Fatal road accidents have surely become part of one's life.  There is not a single day on which a single fatal accident is not reported. 

One more such accident occurred at Muloor near Kaup here on Wednesday February 8 night in which a bike-rider over was run over by a tipper.

The deceased has been identified as Ganesh Anchan, a resident of Suratkal near Mangalore.  He was an employee with Automark Company in Mangalore.  He was on his way back to Mangalore on Wednesday night, when a tipper with only one headlight collided with the mobike. 

However, as soon as the accident took place, the tipper driver left the vehicle beside the road and fled the place.  Ganesh was left alone in a trench with a hand and a leg broken.  It was only after sometime that some passers by notice him and rushed him to the hospital.  But he succumbed to the injuries on the way itself.

The Kaup police have registered a case in this regard.
