David Arquette resumes drinking habit

Los Angeles, Aug 20 (IANS): Actor David Arquette, who received treatment for alcohol addiction in January 2011, says he has resumed his drinking habit.

The 41-year-old opted for treatment after splitting from his actress wife Courteney Cox, the mother of his nine-year-old daughter Coco.

"I'm drinking again... I'm a drinker, I drink a lot. I started drinking again because I felt like. I wasn't being that true to myself. I do get out of control but I try to keep a cap on it. I'll also smoke a little weed," femalefirst.co.uk quoted Arquette as saying.

"Whatever I do, I'm gonna do; I'm gonna go through this journey and figure out my life. I'm a responsible person, I have my daughter three days a week... I'm incredibly responsible. I'm living my life and I'm trying not to hurt people," Arquette added.

The actor also said that his current girlfriend, Christina McLarty, has always been supportive.

"My girlfriend's cool, she supports me. She's cool," he said.

Arquette had recently deleted all his social media accounts because he was getting abused.

"People were being too mean. I think everyone's on their own journey. I'm tired of everyone judging others. I got my own problems, yes, and I will sort them out," said Arquette.
