Mangalore, Feb 2: The death centenary of Br Antonio Moscheni SJ, who painted the murals within the St Aloysius College Chapel here will be observed on Saturday February 4 at 5.30 pm in the St Aloysius College Chapel.

This was announced in a press conference here by Fr Leo D’Souza on Thursday February 2 morning.

Bishop Aloysius Paul D’Souza of Mangalore will offer the Thanksgiving Mass. Jyothi Sahi, artist, will inaugurate an exhibition on Br Moscheni.

Jesuit community of St Aloysius Institutions has organized the centenary observance.

The Chapel will be kept open for public viewing between 5 and 8 pm on February 4, 5, 6.

Fr Francis Serrao, rector of St Aloysius Institutions and Fr Richard Rego, head of the Journalism Department were also present on the occasion.
