Kundapur, Jan 25:  H.D. Kumarswamy, working president of JD (S) party, who is on a pilgrimage along with 35 MLAs including eight ministers, visited Shri Mookambika Temple at Kollur near here on Wednesday January 25 morning and offered special puja to goddess Mookambika.

At first Kumarswamy alone offered puja for about 30 minutes from 7.30 am.  Thereafter Udupi district in-charge minister D T Jaykumar too offered the puja.   Later, remaining MLAs who are moving along with Kumarswamy worshipped Kollur Mookambika en masse.

All the MLAs and Kumarswamy who are on a move after withdrawing their support to the present Congress led coalition government are expected to visit Udupi and Dharmasthala and then return to Bangalore via Hassan by Wednesday evening.

Though initially all of them wanted to return to the capital straightaway from Goa, at some later stage, they changed their plans and decided to meet people posing Kumarswamy as the next chief minister.  Wherever they go, people are according rousing reception to Kumarswamy. Villagers stop the motorcade and garland him with slogans, said one of the MLAs while speaking to this correspondent this morning

Two Volvo buses and 10 cars as well as heavy police escort vehicles form the part of Kumarswamy's motorcade.

Kumarswamy addressed a public meeting at Kumta in the Uttara Kannada district on Tuesday January 24 evening.
