Kundapur, Jan 23: A fisherman who had gone fishing on his small fishing vessel, drowned after the fishing vessel capsized in the sea here at Byndoor on Sunday January 22 morning.

Ramchandra Kharvi (43) of Byndoor had gone fishing on his small ferryboat size fishing vessel on Sunday morning.  He was alone in his fishing vessel.  It was a usual activity for him as he used to fishing in the sea quite often.  But on Sunday morning fate had something else in store for him.

On Sunday morning his body and the fishing vessel were found on the shore close to his house.  Gangolli police have registered a complaint in this regard.

Ramchandra is survived by wife, five daughters and a son.  He was the only bread winner of the family, said the family sources.
