Mangalore, Jan 23: Aravinda Shastry and Gahan MG bagged the honors in the Open and Under 12 State Level Open Rapid Chess Tournament organized at NMPT Officers Club, Mangalore.

Prizes were distributed DK superintendent of police Dayananda.  MRPL DGM P.A Jose, Karavali group of colleges president Ganesh Rao, DK Chess Association president Vaman Kunjoor, KSCA president Sambasiva Rao, KSCA secretary and treasurer S N Deshpande SN, Treasurer were also present on the dais.
