London, Apr 30 (IANS): Actress Kaya Scodelario says she will not play Anastacia Steele in the film adaptation of bestseller "Fifty Shades of Grey" because she is not comfortable nudity in front of the camera.
Scodelario also said her mother does not want her to take the role.
"I'm not comfortable doing nudity. That's something quite personal," femalefirst.co.uk quoted Scodelario as saying.
"My mother always tells me not to do it and I respect her. Considering what the ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ film is about, I wouldn't be able to play Anastacia," added the 21-year-old, who has worked in TV shows like "True Love " and "Skins" in the past.
"Fifty Shades of Grey" is written by EL James.
