BJP to hold nationwide protests against UPA government

New Delhi, April 28 (IANS): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would hold nationwide protests May 4-5 against the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government over irregularities in coal blocks and 2G spectrum allocations, the party announced Sunday.

"BJP has decided to take the fight against corruption from parliament to the people of the country. The party will organise massive protests and dharnas in all state capitals on May 4 and 5," BJP spokesperson Prakash Javadekar told reporters here.

He said the party would continue to raise the issues in parliament as well.

"We will continue to fight against massive corruption of the Congress regime and its shameless cover-up," he said.

The BJP has been demanding Law Minister Ashwani Kumar's resignation for vetting a CBI affidavit on the coal blocks allocation which was meant only for the Supreme Court. The demand has been rejected by the government.

The opposition party also sought Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's resignation after former telecom minister A. Raja alleged that the prime minister was in the loop while decisions were taken regarding allocation of the 2G spectrum.

    They had protested & called many Bandhs in Karnataka against center, while not uttering a single word against their own corruption here.
    Rather they supported it claiming they have done it all these years while our Development was more in just 5 years compared to Congress.
    People have seen Karnataka Shining in just 5 years for the Leaders only.
    They would like to CLEAN their backyard first of corrupt, & would like to do the same elsewhere.
    Modi has come to Bangalore hoping he can fool voters here as well. But he will FAIL.
    There- whenever his mistakes were aired he would tell his people, Congress is accusing Gujarathis as corrupt & killers, there by whipping up anti congress mass hysteria.
    He successfully sold his state to
    Big Industrialists & for 10 years no Lokayukta in that state to cover his corruption & irregularities.
    He wants us to believe Gujarath is just below Heaven. But people here just want to see the back of these Liers & Looters first, then only they have time to listen to all these Lallubyes.

    WE ALL INDIAN WITH YOU GO HEAD AND STRONGLY CONDEMN UPA GOVT'S SCAMS, RAPING, LOOTING AND KILLING PEOPLE IN INDIA.. BLAST THEM WITHOUT MISSING THEIR CORRUPTION PLANNING TO INDIA..JUST MAKE THE LIST AND KEEP INFRONT OF ALL THE INDIANS..JUST CHASE THE UPA GOVT...
