Cloudy Sunday in Delhi


New Delhi, April 28 (IANS): It was a sunny clear morning in the capital Sunday with the minimum temperature settling at 24.5 degrees Celsius, average for this time of year. The Met Office, however, has forecast a cloudy day ahead.

"The sky will stay clear in the morning and turn partly cloudy towards evening," said an official from the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

According to an IMD official, rainfall traces that were not possible to measure were found in the capital by 8.30 a.m. Sunday.

The maximum temperature Sunday is expected to hover around 37 degrees Celsius, the official added.

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded at 51 percent.

Saturday's maximum temperature settled a notch below average at 37.8 degrees Celsius, while minimum temperature was 22 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average.
