After Wharton snub, Modi to address Indian diaspora in USA

Ahmedabad, Mar 5 (PTI): After the 'snub' from Wharton, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address the Indian diaspora in the states of Edison, New Jersey, Chicago, Illinois, of USA through a video conference facility.

"Narendra Modi live speech, Edison, New Jersey, Chicago, Illinois on March 09, 2013 from 7-9 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST)," reads a scroll on the website of the Overseas Friends of the BJP USA.

"Narendrabhai will address the Indian diaspora LIVE from Karnavati (Ahmedabad)," the portal states.

Two venues, namely, TV Asia Auditorium, 76 National Road, Edison, New Jersey, as well as Holiday Inn, 3405 Algonquin Road, Rolling Meadows, Illinois 60008, have been listed on the website of the Overseas Friends of the BJP USA.

On Sunday, the US Wharton School of Business had cancelled the Gujarat CM's keynote address slated for later this month, after an uproar from a section of university professors and students, triggering reactions in India.

It led to the Gujarat-based Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani, the platinum sponsor of the Wharton Business School hosted Wharton India Economic Forum (WIEF) event, withdrawing its event sponsorship and opting out of the event.

The Adani Group is perceived to enjoy a close proximity to the Gujarat Chief Minister.
As mark a of protest against cancelling Modi's key note address, Shiv Sena leader Suresh Prabhu also cancelled his visit to Wharton, saying it was not only an insult to the Gujarat Chief Minister, but also to the entire nation.

Modi has addressed the Indian diaspora in the US through by video conference several times.

In Panch Parmeshwar, the basic humanism of Premchand’s vision is that the human beings may cruel and exploitative by nature, but their humanity resides in their ability to rise above their beastly nature. In Gujarat, by killing the minority-Prajas, Modi proved that he is an evil demon in the name of Parmeshwar.
He divided minorities from majority religion. He favoured the minority industrialists at the cost of the majority marginalised poor. Do you want to destroy the united fabrics of India and create chaos? Try to introspection and ask to yourself and your inner Atma shall reply you sooner or later.

Does Modi know anything apart from spreading hatred ?
If he becomes PM and uses same style of his speaking, he will definately gonna put India in trouble.

They say, Modi developed Gujrat a lot. Has he spent money from his pocket? He just welcomed industies into the state, thats it. If Gujrat has seen some development, it is because of the industries & business people of the state, not by Modi.

Really feel pity on BJP for not having eligible candidate for PM post.

Any speech or online or overseas support wont converts into vote in election.
If Modi or BJP wants come power in 2014, they should to strengthen their NDA alliances.
Because BJP not exist in many states in India more importantly last time BJP won 19 MP seats from Karnataka , this number may decreases to 9 or less.

The fact is that,Modi is a threat to India because his statements are provoking many IM to carry out attacks. He is not secular leader and his only agenda is Hindutva to win the elections. His developements are zeo compared to Haryana. All developments are results of Patels money from UK and USA and Tata Nano Plant in Gujarath.
During his rule not single officer is ed for police and state administration services. Not a single MLA from Musilim or Christian communities is ed.Why you people expect a person like to this to be a PM candidate for India where 20% are non-hindu’s .

I am not against Modi's popularity, but I am more concerned about innocent lives at risk in India just because this single man agenda.

Many commentators feel that his win is due to his development policies, that he has won again is an endorsement of his claims of development of Gujarat. The development model undertaken by Modi is a total surrender to the favored industrial houses, which are having a gala time in Gujarat. The shiny malls and roads of Gujarat hide behind them the travails of the deprived and marginalized sections of Gujarat, the villages in particular. Every Nano car rolling out from Tata car is subsidized by the state to the extent of Rs 60000. The hype of development propaganda, managed by the American Company APCO Worldwide, which has already worked for notorious dictators like Sani Abacha (Nigeria) and Nurusultan NAzarbayev (Life President of Kazagistan), has done its job well again. The job by this agency has been done so well that anybody questioning the development of Gujarat is receives various derogatory labels. As a matter of fact what Modi has done is nothing unusual and states like Maharashtra have achieved much better in this direction, without the hype. Here comes one of the roles of Modi, not only to hire an image maker but also to act like Goebbels.

This so called development hides that the social indices of Gujarat which are very much on the lower side when compared to many other Indian states. What matters in popular perception is the image more than reality. So this aspect of Modi’s propaganda did sell well for a section of middle class not only in Gujarat but all over the country. Many a commentators do buy this uncritically and attribute Modi’s victory to this factor. As its not only the mall going middle class but even the suicide committing farmers families, the starving dalits and Adivasis, who also vote, they feel the reality of the ‘development’ of Gujarat in their lives, so a large turn out to vote and in rural areas they did show that the so called development is from the annals of make believe World.

The real danger today, which is reminded by Modi’s victory are manifold. To begin with the communal fascism is creeping in India through deeper pores of the nation. It is said that RSS is not happy with Modi coming to power and becoming larger than the party, the BJP. This is a contradictory situation. RSS on one hand wants to create a Hindu Rashtra. On the other it wants to regulate the whole process. The contradiction is that RSS ideology pushes the nation towards dictatorial thinking, as RSS itself is modeled on Ek Chalak Anuvartita, (controlled by single supreme dictator), the Sar Sanghchalak, whose writ is unquestionable. At the same time one recalls that one of the characteristics of fascisms the single charismatic leader. Modi fits in to that model very well. It is being said that in Gujarat, the RSS and its progeny VHP, Vishwa Hindu Parishad has been marginalized. One should know that the RSS and its non electoral progeny is there to make the ground for creating a communal space in which BJP can then rough shod and work for Hindu Nation. In Gujarat, these organizations are redundant now as they have already played their role. With Modi’s victory it’s clear that in India the communal fascism is marching state by state, and in the social space, in a gradual manner

This is for TIT FOR TAT cinema production by MOdi's PR team.Industrialists and paid media @ toes to project him for the coveted post but bottom line is that he will end up like BSY/KALYAN/UMA! A seasoned and visioned politician never indulge in cut throat competition in getting international recognition for a vested interest. Modi uses below waist level language against opponent politicians which is not @ all salient feature of National/International level politicians.
