Sri Lankan president meets UAE envoy

Colombo, Feb 16 (IANS/WAM): Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa met the ambassador of the UAE, Abdul Fattah Kazim Al-Mulla, at a programme held in the capital.

Al-Mulla conveyed to Rajapaksa greetings from UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The Sri Lankan president also asked the ambassador to convey his greetings to the UAE leaders.
