Los Angeles, Feb 7 (IANS): British comedian Russell Brand thinks ex-wife Katy Perry is perfect, but he doesn't want to interfere in her new relationship with rocker John Mayer.

Brand and Perry split in December 2011 after 14 months of marriage.

Asked what he thinks of Perry dating Mayer, he said: "You have to let go of the istinct to protect someone once you divorce them... That woman was perfect from top to bottom!"

The 37-year-old has been romantically linked with a string of women since splitting from Perry, but insists he is currently single. However, he would love to find a nice wife, contactmusic.com quoted Brand as saying.

"I am not dating anybody. Actually, I would like a romance. Not so much playing the field, just going through life, meditating, doing yoga, concentrating on the TV show and trying to find a nice wife," he said.

Brand is recently said to have struck up a close friendship with actress Demi Moore, and though he thinks she is a beautiful person, he insists there is nothing romantic about their relationship.

"I really like her, she is a beautiful person. I have not made love to her yet," he said.
