Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla - 25 years together and still going strong!

New Delhi, Jan 31 (IANS): Fashion designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla Thursday celebrated their 25 years in fashion world and launched a book on their journey so far.

The designers, known for their couture creations and rich sense of design, have their journey embedded in the pages of "Indian Fantastiqe", penned by art critic Gayatri Sinha.

The journey of all these years has been satisfying, Abu Jani told IANS.

"It is very satisfying... I think everybody should at least take a look at the book to know what Abu-Sandeep are all about and what they do," he said.

The event was marked by an exhibition of their work and of a few pictures from the book, launched in association with international auctioneers Sotheby's.

Among the designer duo's regular clientele are Bollywood's Bachchan family - Amitabh, Jaya, Abhishek, Aishwarya and Shweta.

Khosla said they have always "tried to make a difference" and "worked very hard".

"We have set our own rules. Now people will get to know a part of Abu-Sandeep's life. It is interesting and exciting," Khosla told IANS.

Asked what is next on the platter, Khosla replied confidently: "Work for another 25 years!"
