London, Nov 13 (IANS): Singer Leona Lewis says she has met some mean people ever since she shot to fame with "The X Factor" in 2008 and this has hampered her trust.
"I've met some deplorable people over the past six years who have done some really bad things and I've seen their betrayal of my trust unfold before my eyes," theindependent.co.uk quoted her as saying.
However, the 27-year-old has learnt from her past mistakes.
"It was hell but I've learnt from it and I'm much better at knowing who I should avoid," she said.
