Jaya Jaitley Allowed to Meet George Fernandes

New Delhi, Aug 31 (IBNS): The Supreme Court on Friday granted permission to ex-Samata Party president Jaya Jaitly to meet former Defence Minister George Fernandes for fifteen minutes once in every fortnight.

A Supreme Court bench headed by justice P Sathasivam allowed Jaya's plea.

The Delhi High Court earlier denied permission to Jaya to meet Fernandes.

Pertinently, 82-year-old Fernandes is bed-ridden and is suffering from Alzheimer's disease.

His companion Jaya moved the Delhi High Court after his family did not allow her to meet him.
