Mangalore: Presidency Builders' Corporate Office Opens in City

Mangalore, Jul 16: The new and suave corporate office of Presidency Homes & Infrastructure Private Limited, the city’s premier builder and real estate developer, was inaugurated at Presidency Zone - 1 building near Bendorewell circle here on Monday July 16. The earlier office was located in Vas Lane.

Yenepoya University chancellor Y Abdulla Kunhi inaugurated the new office.

Speaking on the occasion, Abdulla Kunhi said that Presidency Group led by chairman Hyder Ali has carved a niche for itself in the city’s real estate business. The chairman's relentless efforts and hard work has taken the Group to great heights, he added.

He further said he has plans to open a school in Jeppinamogeru.

Mangalore French Connections Centre director Dr Ravi Santosh Kamat was the chief guest. He said that the towns and cities that are located on riversides across the European countries have flourished; likewise, Mangalore has great potentional as it is located close to the Arabian sea and the Netravati River.

Nitte Univesity chancellor N Vinay Hegde presided over the programme.

Vinay Hegde said that the landscape of the city had changed over the last five decades, and that the city would gain much significance and importance within the next 15 years. "This is all thanks to the aspirations of the coastal people. Presidency Group chairman Hyder Ali has proved to the world what a youngster can achieve," he said.

B A Mohammed Ali compered the programme. Hyder Ali proposed the vote of thanks.

Presidency Group was founded in the city in 1996. The Group has completed 10 construction projects so far and five new projects are in progress. It runs an industrial unit at Baikampady and Prestige School at Jeppinamogeru. It plans to set up a hospital in the near future. Some of the Group's mega projects are coming up in Pumpwell and Jeppinamogeru.
