New Delhi, Oct 10: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Nitin Nabin on Saturday accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal and the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) of attempting to destabilise the country with the backing of foreign forces. He warned that the government would deal firmly with what he described as their “ill intentions” and asserted that BJP workers would thwart their alleged plans.
Speaking to reporters, Nabin alleged that Gandhi, Kejriwal and the CJP were attempting to create an atmosphere of anarchy because they could not accept India's progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.
“An attempt is being made to create a state of anarchy in the country. Efforts are underway to destabilise the country and its 140 crore people. Who is doing this? They are two anarchic groups, one led by 'INDI Alliance' leader Rahul Gandhi, and the other led by Arvind Kejriwal and his associate CJP,” he said.

The BJP president claimed that the two groups were competing with each other to establish which was more disruptive, adding that the people of India were aware of their alleged intentions.
“I give a clear warning to you today that the 'bikau' politics you are pursuing and attempting to destabilise India in collusion with foreign forces will never succeed. I warn you today that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the patriotic people of this country will give you a fitting reply,” Nabin said.
He further asserted that the Centre would take strict action against attempts to create tensions in the country and called on BJP workers to remain connected with the public and counter the opposition's alleged efforts.
“The Government of India will deal sternly with the situation as you attempt to stoke tension, and BJP workers, remaining firmly among the people, will thwart these designs of yours,” he added.
Nabin's remarks came amid tensions over the Election Commission's Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls and a proposed protest by the CJP in New Delhi demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The CJP has alleged irregularities in the electoral-roll revision process, while the BJP has criticised the opposition's campaign.
