Porvorim shooting case: Police detain Kundaim resident near Goa-Karnataka border

Porvorim, Oct 8: Police have detained Gopal Naik, a resident of Kundaim, in connection with the shooting incident outside the Neo Majestic Hotel in Porvorim.

Naik was intercepted near the Goa-Karnataka border following disclosures made during the interrogation of another accused, Satish Shinde.

According to police, Shinde named Naik as a key accomplice allegedly involved in the firing incident. Acting on the information, the police traced Naik and detained him before he could leave the area.

Further investigation is underway to establish Naik’s specific role in the shooting case.
