Mangaluru, Sep 1: St Theresa’s School, Mangaluru, organised a commerce career awareness session titled ‘The Commerce Advantage’ for the students of class X, aimed at introducing them to the scope, relevance and diverse career opportunities offered by the commerce stream.
The session was led by M Ananth Kamath, an alumnus of St Theresa’s School, a professional lecturer for CA, CS and BCom, and an MBA graduate. With his expertise and engaging approach, he familiarised students with various aspects of commerce, including business, finance, accounting and economics.











Kamath highlighted the wide range of career pathways available to commerce students, including professional courses, finance, entrepreneurship, management and other business-related fields. He also shared inspiring examples of successful entrepreneurs and business leaders, helping students understand the relevance of Commerce in everyday life and the professional world.
The session was interactive, with students actively participating, raising questions and seeking clarification about the commerce stream, higher education and career prospects.
The programme concluded on a positive note, encouraging students to identify their interests and strengths and make informed decisions while choosing their higher education and future careers.
St Theresa’s School expressed its appreciation to M Ananth Kamath for returning to his alma mater and sharing his valuable knowledge, experience and insights with the young learners.
