Mangaluru, Aug 28: The School of Commerce, Finance and Accountancy of St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), hosted ‘Sustain Invest 2026: Global Forum on Sustainable Investing’ on August 28, at Eric Mathias Hall.
The conference brought together academicians, researchers, industry professionals, policymakers, financial institutions and students to discuss emerging trends and challenges in sustainable investing. It focused on sustainable finance, responsible investment and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles.



The conference featured eminent speakers including Dr Azizuddin Sultani, Dr Niyaz Panakaje and Prof Sanath Kumar K. The sessions provided a platform for sharing research, exchanging knowledge and exploring innovative financial strategies for sustainable development.
The programme was held under the patronage of Dr Praveen Martis SJ, vice chancellor, with the support of the university leadership and faculty members. The conference aimed to strengthen academia-industry collaboration and promote sustainable investment practices for long-term economic, environmental and social well-being.
