Chandigarh, Aug 11: Four schools in Chandigarh received bomb threat emails on Tuesday morning, triggering extensive searches by police and security agencies. No explosive device or suspicious object was found on any of the school premises, officials said.

Officials said exhaustive searches at all four schools found no explosive device or suspicious object.

The incident has prompted heightened security measures around the affected schools, which were identified as targets in the threatening communications received by the authorities.
