Colva, Aug 7: The Additional Sessions Court in Margao has granted bail to Maria Luiza Fernandes Kudchadkar, who was arrested in connection with the alleged abduction of her husband, Sanjeel Satish Kudchadkar.
According to the prosecution, a complaint was lodged by Diya Kudchadkar on July 27 alleging that at around 12.50 pm, her mother, accompanied by two unidentified persons, allegedly abducted her father from Vasant Arcade at Comba in Margao.
The complaint stated that the trio allegedly forced Sanjeel Kudchadkar into a car before driving away from the spot.
The court granted Maria bail on a personal bond of Rs 25,000 and a surety of an equal amount, subject to specified conditions.
