Mapusa, Aug 7: The Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Court in Mapusa has remanded Santosh Lamani to two days of police custody in connection with an alleged offensive social media post concerning Shri Swami Samarth.
Police said the post allegedly hurt the religious sentiments of devotees, following which legal action was initiated against Lamani.

After being produced before the court, the JMFC granted two days of police custody to the investigating team for further inquiry into the case.
Police officials said the investigation is being carried out under the supervision of senior officers to verify the circumstances surrounding the social media post and gather additional information related to the matter.
The authorities are examining all relevant aspects of the case, and further investigation is in progress.
