Kasargod: Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh Holds Mega Rally as Part of State Convention

Kasargod, Mar 24: Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) held a massive rally here on Friday March 23 as part of the state convention.
 
The rally began from Talipadpu Maidan passing through the city streets and concluded at the venue of the convention located near the new bus stand.


BMS national secretary Surendra inaugurated the convention that will conclude on Sunday March 25.

    BMS stated to be largest Union apex body in India has its presence in every field.However,in Banking sector it could succeed to have dominence and therefore none of the PSU banks has its Workman/Officer employee Director.Its really astonishing.In Banking and Financial sector during 90s when option for pension was offered by the Government,the BMS Unions faught against the same tooth and nail to misguide the work force.Ultimately same Union in 2009 took part in agitation and signed for pension along with leftist unions.

    Had they showed prudence earlier in 1994 many employees would have been benifitted.Many employees who were resigned with out option for pension during 1994-2009 were not given chance to participate in pension scheme.Ironically non of unions BMS ignored this vital issue and left the large chunk of emloyee inlurch.This is a very vital issue now become history.
    Unions colors have videly faded over the years.
