Mumbai, Jul 28: On the occasion of Guru Purnima, actress Priyanshi Yadav expressed gratitude to director Rohit Raj Goyal, crediting him with playing a pivotal role in shaping her journey as an actor.
Speaking to IANS, the Tujhse Re Dil Mein actress said every project she has been associated with has helped her grow, but described working with Rohit Raj Goyal as one of the most enriching experiences of her career.
"I am learning so many different things from every show that I have been a part of, and every experience teaches me something new. But I would say that working with Rohit Raj Goyal sir has been one of the best experiences. He taught me how to work on a character, be natural and truly live the character rather than just perform it. I am genuinely very grateful to have had him as my guru in this journey," she said.

Priyanshi said Rohit Raj Goyal had been her biggest mentor in the entertainment industry and helped her overcome nervousness and anxiety while performing.
Recalling his advice, she said she often shared with him that she became anxious before every scene.
"He told me that the day this nervousness and anxiety completely disappear and I start thinking, 'I can do it, what's the tension?', that is the day I will become a bad actor. As an actor, you should always feel that you can do better and give your best to every scene," she said.
She added that he also taught her the importance of remaining honest with her craft, regardless of the challenges involved in portraying a character.
Priyanshi Yadav currently plays the lead role of Vrinda in Zee TV's Tujhse Re Dil Mein, which revolves around the intertwined lives of Sanjay, Swati and Vrinda, exploring relationships, emotions and unexpected twists.
