Hyderabad, Jul 26: The makers of director Rajesh Karna’s upcoming Telugu investigative thriller 'Newton’s Third Law' have unveiled the film’s official trailer, offering audiences a glimpse into a gripping crime drama led by actor Sumanth.
Veteran Telugu actor Nagarjuna shared the trailer on his X account, wishing the team success ahead of the film’s theatrical release on July 31.
The trailer opens in 1999, setting the stage for a suspense-filled narrative. A voice-over hints at themes of guilt and redemption, saying that not everyone gets a chance to correct their past mistakes.

Sumanth plays Vasudev, an investigator assigned to unravel a mysterious case that appears to be an accident but may in fact be a carefully planned murder. As he digs deeper, he questions witnesses and pieces together clues surrounding a series of suspicious incidents.
The trailer also introduces two college students who agree to carry out a mysterious assignment in exchange for Rs 20,000, suggesting that their actions may become part of the larger conspiracy.
Adding to the intrigue is a chilling dialogue delivered by a gunman holding a revolver, who compares bullets to grains of rice destined for specific people, implying that every victim is chosen by fate.
Veteran actor Jagapathi Babu is introduced as Mercury, a ruthless character shown carrying out multiple killings. As Vasudev investigates, he attempts to determine whether the seemingly unrelated crimes are connected and who is orchestrating them.
Packed with suspense, action and mystery, the trailer suggests that Newton’s Third Law will blend psychological intrigue with an investigative narrative, keeping viewers guessing until the end.
Apart from Sumanth and Jagapathi Babu, the film features Avasarala Srinivas, Ravi Varma, Shelley N. Kumar, Trinadh Varma, Neha Pathan, Pandit Goutham, Harini Rao Gaganam, Rupesh Marrapu and Abhinayanaa in key roles.
The film has been written and directed by Rajesh Karna and produced by Harish Kohirkar. Veda Vyas Gottipati has handled cinematography, Sinjith Yerramilli has composed the music, Anil Pasala is the editor, while the action sequences have been choreographed by Wing Chun Anji.
Newton’s Third Law is scheduled to hit theatres on July 31.
