Panaji, Jul 19: Taleigao BJP MLA and former Goa minister Jennifer Monserrate passed away on Sunday following a prolonged illness.
Her death marks the end of a long political career during which she served as a legislator and held ministerial responsibilities in the Goa government.
Monserrate represented the Taleigao Assembly constituency and was regarded as a prominent political figure in the state. During her public life, she served as an MLA and held key portfolios in the state cabinet.
