Mangaluru, Jun 24: The investiture ceremony held at Lady Hill Victoria High School on June 24 was truly a momentous event, marking the official inauguration of our newly elected student council members as they assumed their new responsibilities and roles.

The ceremony commenced with a solemn and respectful start, including a heartfelt invocation. It was followed by the lighting of the lamp, a symbolic act carried out by the joint secretary, Sr Maria Kripa AC, along with the headmistress, Sr Pushpa Pinto AC. The occasion was further honored by a warm welcome address delivered by the gracious headmistress, who extended her heartfelt greetings to all present.

The highlight of the event was the solemn oath-taking ceremony, during which the newly elected council members pledged to uphold the core values of integrity, accountability, and inclusivity. This significant moment was marked by a sense of pride and responsibility as each member committed to serving with honesty and dedication.

The headmistress, along with the joint secretary distributed badges and sashes to the newly appointed leaders, symbolizing their new roles and responsibilities. The ceremony not only celebrated the achievements of the students but also reinforced the importance of leadership rooted in ethical principles.

During her speech, the chief guest highlighted the importance of leadership and service in fostering a strong and united school community. The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks presented by Manya, while the programme was skillfully hosted by Adhya and Chrislyn of class 10.
