Bengaluru, May 23: Television actress Bhoomika Ramesh, who became popular among viewers through the serial Bhagyalakshmi, is winning praise for her performance and dance sequences in the Telugu serial Meghasandesham.
Bhoomika, fondly known as “Muddu Laddu” among fans, gained popularity through ‘Bhagyalakshmi’, which later split into two separate serials focusing on the stories of sisters Bhagya and Lakshmi. While ‘Bhagyalakshmi’ is nearing its conclusion, ‘Lakshmi Baramma’ ended last year.
Following this, Bhoomika received an opportunity from Zee Telugu to act in ‘Meghasandesham’, where she plays the role of a Bharatanatyam dancer. The serial also stars Abhinav Vishwanathan, known for ‘Nannarasi Radhe’, and the pair has become popular among viewers.
The serial has now introduced veteran actress and dancer Sudha Chandran, giving Bhoomika the opportunity to perform alongside the celebrated artist.
Known for her Bharatanatyam skills from a young age, Bhoomika has participated in several dance reality shows and often incorporates dance performances into her serial roles. In ‘Meghasandesham’, she once again portrays a classical dancer.
Sudha Chandran, widely admired for overcoming adversity after losing a leg in an accident and continuing her dance career with a prosthetic limb, plays a pivotal role in the latest twist in the serial. Sharing screen space with her is considered a dream for many dance enthusiasts.
