Panaji, May 13: The Goa Petrol Dealers Association has assured citizens that there is no shortage of petrol in the state despite growing concerns over fuel supply and rising prices in several neighbouring countries.
The association stated that Goa currently has adequate petrol reserves for around 15 days, while fresh fuel shipments continue to arrive every week to ensure uninterrupted supply across the state.

Officials from the association said there is no immediate reason for panic buying or concern among consumers, as the fuel supply situation in Goa remains stable.
The clarification comes amid increasing public anxiety following reports of fuel-related challenges and price hikes in countries such as Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
The association emphasised that Goa’s fuel distribution network is functioning normally and supply chains remain unaffected.
It also appealed to the public not to engage in unnecessary fuel stocking, stating that regular replenishment of petrol stocks is taking place and there is sufficient availability to meet current demand.
