Daijiworld Media Network - Mumbai

Mumbai, May 12: Amazon MX Player on Tuesday released the official trailer of its upcoming survival thriller Vimal Khanna, promising a gripping story packed with suspense, betrayal, and high-stakes action.

Inspired by the celebrated “Vimal Series” created by renowned pulp fiction writer Surender Mohan Pathak, the series stars Sunny Hinduja in the lead role, alongside Isha Talwar and Tara Alisha Berry.

The show follows Vimal, an ordinary man who finds himself falsely accused and stripped of his identity. As he struggles to prove his innocence, he is drawn into a dangerous web of deceit and survival, where every escape attempt only deepens the crisis around him.

Speaking about the role, Sunny Hinduja described the project as an immersive experience and highlighted the emotional depth of his character.

He said Vimal is not a traditional hero but a man forced into extraordinary circumstances, where survival becomes instinctive. According to the actor, the character’s constant battle between preserving his identity and adapting to a hostile system makes him both relatable and compelling.

Author Surender Mohan Pathak also shared his excitement about seeing one of his most popular literary characters adapted for the screen. He noted that Vimal Khanna’s journey has long resonated with readers because of the way the character navigates a world that repeatedly tests his identity and resilience.

The makers announced that Vimal Khanna will premiere on May 15 and will stream free of cost exclusively on Amazon MX Player. The series will also be accessible on connected TVs, Fire TV, Prime Video, JioTV, Airtel Xstream, mobile devices, and the Amazon shopping app.
