Naidu hails NDA wins, says results strengthen vision of Viksit Bharat

Amaravati, May 4: Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday said that the National Democratic Alliance’s (National Democratic Alliance) electoral success reflects growing public confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his vision of a developed India.

Reacting to Assembly election trends in states such as West Bengal and Assam, Naidu said the results reaffirm the NDA as a coalition aligned with people’s aspirations, guided by the principle of inclusive development.

In a message shared by the Telugu Desam Party, Naidu stated that the mandate strengthens the journey towards “Viksit Bharat” and underscores public trust in governance focused on development and credibility.

He also congratulated Prime Minister Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP national president Nitin Nabin, NDA leaders, party workers, and voters for what he described as a significant mandate.

Meanwhile, former MP Vijaya Sai Reddy commented that a Bharatiya Janata Party (Bharatiya Janata Party) government in West Bengal would serve national interests. He emphasised the need for strict measures against illegal infiltration, including policies to detect, deport, and prevent cross-border migration.

Reddy also remarked on emerging political trends in southern India, noting that newer regional parties are gaining traction by focusing on governance and local priorities.
