New Delhi, Apr 22: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday paid tribute to the 26 people killed in the Pahalgam terror attack, asserting that India will never bow to terrorism and such acts will never succeed.
In a post on X marking the first anniversary of the April 22, 2025 attack in Pahalgam, the Prime Minister remembered the innocent lives lost and expressed solidarity with the bereaved families.
“Remembering the innocent lives lost in the gruesome Pahalgam terror attack on this day last year. They will never be forgotten. My thoughts are also with the bereaved families as they cope with this loss,” he wrote.

Emphasising national unity, Modi said the country stands together in grief and determination.
“As a nation, we stand united in grief and resolve. India will never bow to any form of terror. The heinous designs of terrorists will never succeed,” he added.
The attack, which claimed 26 lives, had drawn widespread condemnation and reinforced calls for stronger action against terrorism.
