Panaji, Apr 21: The opposition has come under sharp criticism for its stance in the Lok Sabha over the Women’s Reservation Bill, with Pramod Sawant accusing rival parties of adopting an “anti-women” position.

Sawant said that those opposing the bill do not deserve to speak for women’s rights and urged voters to hold them accountable in the upcoming elections.

Meanwhile, workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party Mahila Morcha organised a protest march in Panaji, condemning the opposition’s stand. The demonstration saw participation from MLA Deviya Rane, Delaila Lobo, and a large number of women supporters.
