New Delhi, Apr 17: Huawei’s upcoming Watch Fit 5 series has surfaced in fresh leaks, revealing key specifications, pricing details and design upgrades ahead of its official launch. The lineup is expected to include the standard Watch Fit 5 and a more premium Watch Fit 5 Pro model.
According to leaked information, the Watch Fit 5 is likely to be priced at around EUR 199 (approximately Rs 21,800), while the Watch Fit 5 Pro may start at EUR 299 (approximately Rs 32,700). The standard model is tipped to arrive in black, white, silver/green and purple colour options, whereas the Pro variant may be offered in black, white and orange.
In terms of design, both models are expected to retain Huawei’s signature rectangular smartwatch form factor. The Watch Fit 5 may feature an aluminium body, while the Pro version could come with a more premium aluminium frame combined with a titanium outer frame. Both models are said to include a fibreglass rear panel, with the Pro variant reportedly offering sapphire crystal protection for improved durability.
The Watch Fit 5 is expected to sport a 1.82-inch AMOLED display with 480×408 pixel resolution and peak brightness of up to 2500 nits. The Pro model may feature a slightly larger 1.92-inch LTPO OLED display with the same resolution but higher brightness levels reaching up to 3500 nits.
Both smartwatches are likely to include Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, GPS, and IP6X dust resistance. The Pro model may also support deeper water resistance up to 40 metres, making it suitable for diving activities.
Health and fitness features are expected to be a key focus, with sensors such as heart rate monitor, accelerometer, barometer, body temperature sensor and ambient light sensor. The Pro variant may additionally include ECG support and a depth sensor. Both models are expected to offer automatic activity tracking, multiple sports modes and offline full-colour maps.
Battery life is tipped at up to 10 days under ideal conditions, around seven days with typical usage, and up to four days with always-on display enabled. The base model is expected to weigh around 27.5 grams, while the Pro variant may be slightly heavier at 31.6 grams.
