Lucknow, Apr 11: A dramatic and emotionally intense scene unfolded at the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court on April 10, when a distraught woman climbed onto the roof of the court premises in tears and threatened to jump, triggering panic and immediate intervention.
The woman, a resident of Gonda district, has now made serious allegations of gang rape and forced religious conversion, and has approached authorities seeking registration of an FIR based on her complaint.
She alleged that she was abducted on the pretext of marriage and repeatedly subjected to sexual assault by multiple accused persons. According to her statement, she was also forced into religious conversion and coerced into marriage, while enduring continuous physical and mental abuse.

The woman further claimed that she later gave birth to a child, but the accused refused to take responsibility. She also alleged that certain individuals, including a village head, were protecting the accused and issuing threats to prevent her from pursuing legal action.
The situation escalated on April 10 when she arrived at the High Court premises in Lucknow and climbed onto the roof, alleging pressure to withdraw her complaint. In a shocking claim, she said her child was threatened and even dangled in the air by the accused.
Lawyers present at the spot intervened promptly, preventing any harm to the child. Amid the tense situation, the woman reportedly fainted, following which court security officials, including the Registrar (Security), stepped in and ensured the safety of both the woman and her child.
Authorities later brought the situation under control, and the woman has demanded strict action and immediate arrest of all accused persons.
Police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
