Daijiworld Media Network - Mumbai

Mumbai, Apr 10: Gold prices in India registered a marginal decline on Thursday, with 24-carat gold trading at Rs 15,147 per gram, as per data from Good Returns.

The price of 22-carat gold stood at Rs 13,884 per gram, while 18-carat gold was at Rs 11,360 per gram. The dip comes amid continued fluctuations in global bullion markets, influenced by a stronger dollar and rising bond yields.

Prices remained largely uniform across major cities including Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kerala and Pune, all reporting identical rates.

Chennai recorded the highest prices, with 24K gold at Rs 15,272 per gram, followed by Delhi at Rs 15,162. Cities such as Vadodara and Ahmedabad showed slightly higher-than-average rates.

The marginal drop saw prices fall by Rs 1 per gram across both 24K and 22K categories compared to the previous day, reflecting stable domestic conditions despite global volatility.
