Amitabh says not working even a day feels ‘strange’

Mumbai, Apr 6: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has opened up about his deep-rooted discipline towards work, saying that even a single day without work feels unusual and unsettling to him.

In a recent blog post, the veteran actor reflected on his routine, describing how a day without work disrupts his sense of order. “A day that felt somewhat ‘lazy’... but not working every day feels strange to me. When you do not adhere to your fixed daily schedule, the habit you have cultivated over time gets disrupted,” he wrote.

He added that such disruptions make the day feel disoriented compared to his usual structured routine. “You then find yourself wondering why the day isn't unfolding exactly as you had wished,” he noted, adding that understanding this feeling can help maintain peace of mind, though it may increase anxiety for some.

Known for his unwavering dedication over a career spanning more than six decades, Bachchan continues to remain active across projects.

On the work front, he was last seen hosting Season 17 of Kaun Banega Crorepati. In films, he recently appeared in Kalki 2898 AD alongside Prabhas. He is currently shooting for its sequel as part of the expanding Kalki cinematic universe.
