Mumbai, Apr 5: Aditya Dhar’s high-octane espionage thriller Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge continues its record-breaking run at the box office, entering its 17th day on Saturday with massive collections across India and overseas markets.
The Ranveer Singh-led film has now earned a domestic net of Rs 985.02 crore after 17 days, while its worldwide gross has surged beyond Rs 1,523 crore, according to trade reports. The film has already surpassed several major benchmarks, including becoming the highest-grossing Indian film in North America by overtaking Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.
On Day 17 alone, the film reportedly collected Rs 25.65 crore, taking its total close to the Rs 1,000 crore domestic net milestone. If current momentum continues, it is expected to cross the landmark within hours, becoming only the second Indian film after Pushpa 2: The Rule to achieve the feat.

The film delivered a blockbuster Week 1 of Rs 674.17 crore, followed by Rs 263.15 crore in Week 2. Even in its third week, it maintained strong occupancy, including a notable Day 11 surge of Rs 68.10 crore, which helped it overtake lifetime collections of the original 2025 release Dhurandhar in just 11 days.
Trade analysts note that the film has sustained its run despite competition from the ongoing IPL 2026 season, which traditionally impacts evening theatre attendance.
On Day 17, collections were led by the Hindi version with Rs 13.54 crore, while Telugu and Tamil versions contributed Rs 0.39 crore and Rs 0.30 crore respectively.
The film features Ranveer Singh in the lead role as undercover spy Jaskirat Singh Rangi, alongside performances by Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal and Yami Gautam.
With its mix of espionage drama and real-life political references, the film continues to dominate theatres nationwide.
