Trump gives Iran 48-hour ultimatum, warns of ‘all hell’

Daijiworld Media Network - Washington

Washington, Apr 5: US President Donald Trump has warned Iran that it has just 48 hours to make a deal or face severe military consequences, escalating tensions in the ongoing West Asia conflict.

In a strongly worded message posted on his Truth Social platform, Trump said “time is running out” and threatened that “all hell will reign down” if Iran fails to meet US demands within the deadline.

The ultimatum is part of a broader 10-day deadline earlier issued by Trump, asking Iran to either agree to a deal or reopen the strategically crucial Strait of Hormuz, a key global oil shipping route.

The warning comes amid escalating military tensions between the US and Iran, including recent clashes and the downing of a US fighter jet, with efforts ongoing to locate a missing American airman.

The conflict, which has intensified over the past several weeks, has disrupted global energy supplies and raised concerns about wider regional instability.

Iran has not officially responded to the latest ultimatum, even as indirect diplomatic efforts continue through intermediaries to de-escalate the situation.
