Panaji, Apr 2: The Goa government on Wednesday effected a major administrative reshuffle, transferring and posting 13 senior-scale officers across various departments.
Among the key appointments, Arvind Bugde, joint secretary (law), has been appointed as secretary to the Lokayukta. Dipak Desai, director of social welfare, has been posted as director of civil aviation.

Deepak Bandekar, director of information and publicity, has been transferred as director of social welfare and given additional charge as managing director of the Goa State Minorities and Development Corporation. He will be replaced by Abhir Hede, currently additional director of mines–I.
Ajit Panchwadakar, who was awaiting posting, has been appointed director of new and renewable energy, while Gaurish Shankhwalkar will take charge as managing director of the Goa Energy Development Agency.
Further, Vishant Naik Gaunekar has been posted as additional director–I at the mines directorate. Sohan Uskaikar has been appointed additional commissioner of excise with additional charge as general manager of GIDC.
Gaurish Pilgaonkar has been named additional commissioner of state tax and will also hold additional charge as managing director of GHRSSIDC.
In another key posting, Darshani Dessai has been appointed director (administration) at IPHB. Officials Joao Fernandes, Fiona Cardozo and Manuel Barreto were also transferred as part of the reshuffle.
All officers have been directed to assume their new responsibilities immediately and submit compliance, the order stated.
